OAX 9F (Fleet no RC.968) was one of ten Bristol RELH coaches with Leyland engines and Eastern Coach Works bodies new to Chepstow-based Red & White Services Ltd in March 1968. They were used on Associated Motorways express services and also tours and excursions.
She spent most of her working life at the now closed Tredegar depot.
Transferred to National Welsh in April 1978, she was down-graded to dual-purpose status and used on local South Wales limited-stop bus services until withdrawal in July 1983. Bought for preservation later that year, she was restored to original red and ivory-white livery and has been in private ownership since then.
In 2013 a considerable amount of body restoration work was undertaken to bring her to the current condition. The engine was rebuilt early 2017.
